Setting Up Your Tutor Account: Step-by-Step Guide

To become an active tutor on our platform, please follow the outlined steps carefully. Each stage ensures that your profile is fully optimized, verified, and ready to connect with students effectively.

 

1. Tutor Registration

Begin by registering on the platform as a tutor. Complete all required fields accurately during the sign-up process.

2. Login and Initial Setup

Once registration is complete, log in to your account using your credentials. After logging in successfully, you may proceed to personalize and activate your tutor profile.

3. KYC Verification (Know Your Customer)

To verify your identity and activate your tutor privileges, you must upload valid KYC documents. This is a mandatory step. Failure to comply may lead to limited account access or the suspension of certain services. Once verified, you can continue with further setup.

4. Profile Settings

Navigate to the Settings tab to access your profile. Upload a clear professional photo and fill in all required biodata fields such as name, contact details, and a brief personal introduction.

5. Tutorship Profile

Click on the Tutorship option under the Account menu. Complete the Tutorship Profile Form, including your teaching subjects, levels, experience, and areas of specialization.

6. Availability Schedule

Set your weekly teaching schedule by selecting available time slots from Sunday to Saturday. This ensures students can book sessions that align with your convenience and availability.

7. Payout Setup

To receive payments for your tutoring services, configure your payout account. Go to the Payouts section from the dropdown menu and click on the Send Payout Request button after entering your payout details.

8. Managing Sessions

To create a tutoring session, go to the Sessions tab in the side menu. Click the +Create New button at the top-right corner of the page to begin setting up a new session.

9. Bookings Overview

Under the Bookings menu, you can view all types of bookings—upcoming, pending, completed, and recurring. You may also create new bookings by clicking the +Create New button.

10. Calendar View

The Calendar section provides a visual display of your tutorial events by month, week, or day—helping you stay organized and plan effectively.

11. Transaction History

Track your financial activity through the Transactions page. Here you can view all transactions, both paid and unpaid, in a clear and structured format.

12. Holiday Management

Set your unavailability by selecting holiday dates on the Holidays page. Once selected, those dates will be marked as “Disabled Days,” preventing student bookings on those days.

13. Messages and Chat

The Messages page displays chat histories and the number of students who have contacted you. Tutors are expected to respond promptly and professionally to maintain effective communication.

14. Favourites

Access your list of favourite students via the Favourites page. This allows you to prioritize or personalize communication and sessions.

15. Tutoring Experience

Document your previous teaching or tutoring experiences by clicking on the +Create New button in the Experience section. You may add multiple records to showcase your qualifications and skills.

16. Educational Background

Under the Education section, click +Create New to add your academic qualifications. This helps build credibility with students and parents.

17. Coupon Management

Tutors can create session-specific discounts by adding coupons under the Coupon section. Define the start and end date, as well as the usage limit for each coupon.

18. Account Report

The Report page provides a comprehensive summary of your tutor activity, performance, session engagement, earnings, and student interactions.
